The PNP data represents almost 20241 STL outlets, 6313 lotto outlets, 2762 Peryahan ng Bayan, 778 KENO, as well as 190 STL drawing centers that have been shut down as of today.

The units from PNP have been instructed to do intensified crackdown across all sorts of gaming activities performed at PCSO franchises, and also by the underground numbers game operators.

Albayalde took exception at Senator Nancy Binay’s statement as well where she of was of the opinion that PNP’s focus is on shutting down the gaming outlets operated by PCSO rather than hunting down any criminals which shows their “misplaced sense of priority”. Miss Binay also requested the PNP to keep distance from such theatrics away.

“Let me emphasize that all the public safety and law enforcement operations carried out by PNP won’t get sidelined by the ongoing crackdown on PCSO-operated outlets, but we did intensify further especially against the wanted persons in illegal drugs and street crimes,” Albayalde said.
